With our pool inspection and pool fence inspections services, you won’t have to worry about hidden damages or potential dangers.
Why You Need a Pool Safety Inspection
If your pool is not up to date with government standards, you run the risk of being fined thousands of dollars, and you are jeopardising the lives of family members and friends.
In 2010, the Queensland Government introduced regulations stating all properties being sold or leased with a pool must have a pool safety inspection certificate, and be listed on their pool safety register.
If the seller of the property has not arranged a pool safety inspection certificate, they must inform the buyer before entering into the contract of sale. The buyer then has ninety days from settlement to obtain a certificate from a licenced pool safety inspector. If the pool needs updating or repairs, the buyer can negotiate the contract price.
